Shea butter is derived from the nuts of the shea trees that grow in West and Central Africa.
It's a wonderful emollient that's perfect for everyday use. Can also be used as a scalp moisturizer.

Apply gently as desired, paying particular attention to dry or rough areas, reapplying as needed.
This product is naturally hard and its color/texture varies with temperature. This product will melt when heated above body temperature and return to solid when cooled. This is natural and may affect appearance, but is not detrimental to product quality. This heating and cooling can produce fat crystals that affect the color/texture and make it grainy or uneven. If hard, shea butter can be softened by placing in a pan of hot water (e.g. 100 F or hotter) for 30 minutes or in the microwave until soft.
Beware of microwaves This jar contains an aluminum seal. Do not place this jar directly into the microwave oven. Before microwaving, pour desired amount into a microwave-safe container. Allow to cool before applying.
