Digest-Aide

Trophic's Digest-Aide helps relieve irritation of the gastrointestinal tract and promotes the efficient absorption and utilization of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K.

When taken with meals, it prevents indigestion, nausea and flatulence, and effectively stimulates gallbladder function. Trophic Digest-Aide is composed of bile extracts and three digestive enzymes (lipase, trypsin and bromelain).

Chamomile, goldenseal and charcoal have been added to further stimulate the digestive process. In this preparation, lipase separates lipids into two compounds: glycerol and fatty acids. Trypsin and bromelain are powerful proteolytic enzymes that digest proteins faster and more thoroughly than pepsin. Goldenseal is traditionally used to soothe the mucous membranes of the digestive tract and to help with difficult digestion (dyspepsia). Bile salts are probably formed throughout the body, but are concentrated mainly in the liver and excreted via the bile ducts into the duodenum. There, they play an essential role in fat digestion.

Non-medicinal ingredients 

Dibasic calcium phosphate dihydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, croscarmellose sodium, coating solution.

Contains : Milk (lactose monohydrate).

Contains no yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, sugar, artificial coloring or preservatives.

Dosage 

Adults, take one tablet daily with each meal, or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Warnings

Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if symptoms of digestive disorders (e.g. diarrhea) develop, worsen or persist beyond 3 days.

Contraindications :
Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you suffer from abdominal pain, nausea or other symptoms of appendicitis.
