Since 1900 and four generations of the family, Marius Fabre has been perpetuating the the traditional manufacture of Marseille soapcooked in a cauldron.
The "à la marseillaise" manufacturing process guarantees an "extra pure" soap, free of all impurities. It cares for all skin types, especially the most sensitive (babies, allergic skin, etc.). Olive oil brings its nourishing virtues: Marius Fabre Marseille soap with olive oil helps reduce skin dryness*.

Marseille soap has many uses and virtues that are often little-known:
Sodium olivate, Sodium cocoate, Aqua, Glycerin, Sodium chloride, Sodium hydroxide.
The glycerine contained in Marius Fabre Marseille soaps is not added glycerine, unlike so-called "glycerinated" soaps. It is the glycerine naturally contained in vegetable oil. After 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny fraction remains. The ingredient "glycerin" is nevertheless mentioned in the list of ingredients on our soaps, as traces of it remain. The new cosmetics regulations require that all ingredients, even traces, be indicated in the list of ingredients.
