Rose Hip Seed Oil is produced from the seeds contained in the berries of a wild rose that grows in the southern Andes: Rosa rubiginosa, also known as Rosa Mosqueta in Chile and Argentina. 

The delicate, pale-pink flowers of this shrub are extremely beautiful, but only live for around 24 hours. Once the petals have fallen, all that's left is the coveted reddish fruit containing the precious rosehip seeds.
