Aromatherapy is a holistic discipline that treats the body with essential oils through diffusion, inhalation and massage, either externally or internally. Rosemary Camphor is used as muscle relaxant. The Divine Essence brand offers 100% pure and natural products, certified organic by Ecocert Canada.
100% organic rosemary camphor (Rosmarinus officinalis camphoriferum). Main chemical compound: Ketones (camphor 30%), oxides (Cineole 30%). Other chemical compounds: Monoterpenes (40%).
Crampe, contracture, muscle soreness...: dilute in a vegetable oil and massage the affected area, or mix a few drops with a neutral base in a bath.
Physical exertion (in preparation for or just after exercise): dilute in a vegetable oil and massage into the area concerned.
Fibromyalgia : dilute in a vegetable oil and massage into the affected area, or in a bath by mixing a few drops with a neutral base.
Amenorrhea (promotes menstruation): dilute in a vegetable oil and massage into the lower abdomen.
Liver and biliary disorders: dilute in a vegetable oil and massage the liver area and abdomen.
In high doses or with prolonged application, rosemary camphor becomes neurotoxic. In moderate doses, this essential oil becomes hypertensive. It should be used with caution by people suffering from hypertension or hypotension. Pure skin irritation.
