Since 1900 and four generations of the family, Marius Fabre in Salon-de-Provence has perpetuated the traditional Marseille soap-makingcooked in a cauldron.
The "à la marseillaise" manufacturing process guarantees an "extra pure" soap, free of all impurities. Used in cubes or shavings, it is recommended for gentle washing of delicate laundry (baby linen, fragile fabrics: wool, silk, lace...). Hypoallergenic, it also cares for all skin types, especially the most sensitive (babies, allergic skin, etc.).
Economicalit lasts even longer after drying.
The glycerine contained in these Marseille soaps is not added glycerine, unlike so-called "glycerinated" soaps. It is the glycerine naturally contained in vegetable oil. After 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny fraction remains. The ingredient "glycerin" is nevertheless mentioned in the list of ingredients on our soaps, as traces of it remain. The new cosmetics regulations require that all ingredients, even traces, be indicated in the list of ingredients.
