Gardening Tips

Sow indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors when the soil has warmed. Bury the seeds about 5 mm deep, in full sun in well-drained soil. Thin out or transplant at 30-45 cm spacing. Germination takes 7 to 14 days at 21-24°C. Tolerates heat and drought well once established. Cut the panicles when they are well formed for fresh or dried use.
