It is therefore quite natural that we have formed partnerships and established relationships of trust with several local farms in the Outaouais and suppliers from Quebec, in order to provide you with the highest quality, certified organic fruits and vegetables every day and throughout the seasons.

Who supplies fruits and vegetables?

Farm Bowler Hat

Located in Ange-Gardien in Outaouais, Ferme Chapeau Melon was born from the passion of its owners François Biron and Julie Beauregard. As its name suggests, the farm specializes in the production of fresh and tasty melons, but that’s not all! Throughout the seasons, find butternut squash, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, greenhouse greens (kale, spinach, mesclun, arugula, carrots, Swiss chard), baby ginger, garlic... And also for your greatest pleasure, watermelons, cantaloupes and canary melons.

All their products are certified organic by Ecocert.

Farm with Full Flavors

La Ferme aux full flavors is a family farm run by owners Martin Turcot and Chantale Vaillancourt. Founded in 2002, the farm has been developing this land on Rang Ste-Madeleine for almost two decades, using organic farming methods to produce batches of tasty and healthy fruits and vegetables.

Depending on the seasons, discover the richness of their production: basil, squash, carrots, cabbage, leeks, radishes, zucchini and more!

La Ferme aux Pleines Saveurs has been certified organic since 2003 by the Québec-Vrai certification body.

The Gardens Next Door

Alexandre, Carole and Valérie are the masters of this small market garden located in Ange-Gardien, near Buckingham. The farm Les Jardins d’à vite firmly believes that organic farming is the way of the future and all of their products are certified organic by Ecocert Canada. They grow around forty different vegetables: radishes, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, beans, carrots, beets, garlic, onions etc.

Farm officials affirm their commitment: « Our mission is to provide the Outaouais with healthy, local and environmentally friendly food. To this end, we grow our vegetables organically, without pesticides or chemical inputs.

Juniper Farm

In Outaouais, the Juniper farm is a great reference. Located just minutes from Wakefield, the 200-acre organic farm includes seasonal vegetable gardens, perennials, grazing animals, bee hives, woodlands, meadows, ravines, swamps and streams.

Among their selection of organic fruits and vegetables, find: radishes, peppers, spinach, sugar snap peas, arugula, lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, raspberries.

All Juniper Farm fruits and vegetables are certified organic by Ecocert Canada.

Ferme Aromates & Compagnie

Located in Luskville, the Aromates & Compagnie farm specializes in the production of organic garlic. With the “Ail du Québec” certification and a constant passion, this producer is a trusted partner of La Boite à Grains.

Verger Croque-Pomme

Juicy, delicious, organic and local apples, the dream! The Croque-Pomme orchard is located in the canton of Lochaber-Ouest in Outaouais, where approximately 20 hectares of land allow the cultivation of 3,000 apple trees.

The adventure of the Croque-Pomme orchard began in 1994 and its development now allows the population of Outaouais to discover little-known varieties of apples, grown locally and with passion.

At the height of the season in autumn, find La Boite à Grains 100% organic Silken, Primgold, Freedom, Honeygold, Red Baron, Eden, Sweet Sixteen and Diva apples. Enjoy your treat!

The Outaouais organic greenhouses

Located in Gatineau, Les Serres Bio de l’Outaouais offers you for twenty years now a production of greenhouse vegetables certified organic by Québec Vrai. 

Treat yourself to their tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, beans and herbs. Also discover their summer production in our stores: carrots, beets, radishes, turnips.

To La Boite à Grains, we are committed to offering you certified organic fruits and vegetables. Émile Péloquin, from Gatineau, accompanies us in this mission with a rich selection of local, quality varieties.

With nearly 40 years of history and recognized expertise, Canadawide supports us in the supply of organic fruits and vegetables from other countries and regions around the world. Thanks to its distribution network and modern facilities, the Quebec company located in Montreal allows us to offer you an expanded organic offering.
