Who supplies the fruit and vegetables?

Chapeau Melon Farm

Located in l'Ange-Gardien in the Outaouais region, Ferme Chapeau Melon is the brainchild of owners François Biron and Julie Beauregard. As its name suggests, the farm specializes in the production of fresh, tasty melons, but that's not all! As the seasons go by, you'll find butternut squash, sweet potatoes, pumpkins, greenhouse greens (kale, spinach, mesclun, arugula, carrots, Swiss chard), baby ginger, garlic... And to your delight, watermelons, cantaloupes and canary melons.

All their products are certified organic by Ecocert.

Ferme aux Pleines Saveurs

Ferme aux Pleines Saveurs is a family farm run by owners Martin Turcot and Chantale Vaillancourt. Founded in 2002, the farm has been developing this land on Rang Ste-Madeleine for nearly two decades, using organic farming methods to produce batches of tasty, healthy fruits and vegetables.

As the seasons change, discover the richness of their produce: basil, squash, carrots, cabbage, leeks, radishes, zucchini and more!

Ferme aux Pleines Saveurs has been certified organic since 2003 by the Québec-Vrai certification organization.

Les Jardins d'à Côté

Alexandre, Carole and Valérie are the owners of this small market-garden farm in l'Ange-Gardien, near Buckingham. Les Jardins d'à côté firmly believes that organic farming is the way of the future, and all their produce is certified organic by Ecocert Canada. They grow some forty different vegetables: radishes, cabbages, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, beans, carrots, beets, garlic, onions and more.

The farm's managers affirm their commitment: « Our mission is to supply the Outaouais region with healthy, local and environmentally-friendly food. To this end, we grow our vegetables organically, without pesticides or chemical inputs.

Juniper Farm

In the Outaouais region, Juniper Farm is a fine reference. Located just minutes from Wakefield, the 200-acre organic farm features seasonal vegetable gardens, perennials, grazing animals, beehives, woodlands, meadows, ravines, wetlands and streams.

Their selection of organic fruits and vegetables includes radishes, peppers, spinach, sweet peas, arugula, lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini and raspberries.

All Juniper Farm fruits and vegetables are certified organic by Ecocert Canada.

Ferme Aromates & Compagnie

Located in Luskville, Ferme Aromates & Compagnie specializes in organic garlic production. With "Ail du Québec" certification and a passion for their products, this producer is a trusted partner of La Boite à Grains.

Verger Croque-Pomme

Juicy, tasty, organic and local apples - the dream! The Croque-Pomme orchard is located in Lochaber-Ouest Township in the Outaouais region, where some 20 hectares of land provide space for 3,000 apple trees.

The Croque-Pomme orchard adventure began in 1994, and its development now allows the Outaouais population to discover little-known apple varieties, grown locally and with passion.

At the height of the autumn season, you'll find at La Boite à Grains 100% organic Silken, Primgold, Freedom, Honeygold, Red Baron, Eden, Sweet Sixteen and Diva apples. Enjoy!

Les Serres bio de l'Outaouais

Located in Gatineau, Les Serres Bio de l'Outaouais offers you greenhouse vegetables certified organic by Québec Vrai. 

Treat yourself to their tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, beans and fine herbs. You can also discover their summer production of carrots, beets, radishes and turnips in our stores.
