Alpha's organic coconut oil is Fairtrade certified and is hand-pressed directly from fresh coconuts in the Solomon Islands by indigenous islanders on their own family farms. 

The DME® process uses a manual cold-pressing unit to produce crude oil from fresh coconuts in as little as an hour and a half or less. Such a short processing time eliminates the risk of mold formation or the danger of other impurities. This is one of the things that sets us apart from all other coconut oils on the market. For this reason, it has earned several organic certifications.
