The organic Grand-Maman Dinel climbing bean from Jardins de l'Écoumène is a variety with a mysterious and fascinating history. It owes its name to Maximilienne Corbeil Dinel, who has grown this bean in her vegetable garden every year since her wedding gift in 1907.
Since 2001, Les Jardins de l'Écoumène has been offering quality organic vegetable seeds. One of the priorities of owners Guylaine and Jean-François is the survival of certain heritage lines that are important for maintaining biodiversity.
The seeds produced by Jardins de l'écoumène were certified organic from the very first year, and have remained so ever since. An ever-increasing number of seeds and seedlings of vegetable varieties, aromatic herbs and edible flowers are offered year after year, with the utmost respect for the environment.
