Niaouli is a tree native to Australia and New Caledonia. An emblematic tree of New Caledonia, it was introduced to Madagascar, which has now become one of the main producing countries. The essential oil extracted from the leaves by distillation is renowned for stimulating the body's natural defenses. Niaouli extract, known as Gomenol, is used in many pharmaceutical preparations (dental care, toothpastes, etc.).

Use
Niaouli essential oil is used in aromatherapy for its expectorant action, helping to relieve symptoms of sinusitis, coughs, bronchitis and colds.
Topical (Adults): Mix 2 to 10 drops in 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) of vegetable oil; apply topically, 3 times a day.
