Semences Nordiques' organic Brandywine tomato is an ancestral variety that produces generous fruit weighing up to 450 grams. The taste is rich and slightly acidic.
Sow indoors 6 to 8 weeks before last frost. Bury seeds 0.5 cm deep in warm soil and keep moist. Transplant outdoors after any risk of frost, spacing plants 60-90 cm apart, in full sun and well-drained soil. Fertilize and support vigorous plants. Harvest when fruit is well colored and slightly soft for optimal flavor.
Based in the hills of the Outaouais region, Semences Nordiques farm offers certified organic and open-pollinated seeds. Carefully selected, top-quality varieties ensure reliable germination rates and vigorous seedlings.
Catherine, owner of Semences Nordiques, sums up the spirit of her company: "Our farm practices reflect a deep respect for nature. We strive to improve the health of our soils, promote biodiversity and preserve our natural resources".
