Adults : Take ½-1 tablet daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Take once daily, only at or before bedtime. Do not drive or operate machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin.
For jet lag: Take once a day at bedtime after dark, while traveling and at destination, until adapted to the new daily cycle, for occasional short-term use.
For sleep schedule restriction/altered sleep; for sleep phase delay syndrome; and to restore the sleep-wake cycle: Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks.
