Expansion of Supermarché Santé on Gréber in Gatineau

 

La Boite à Grains is pleased to announce the expansion of its Gréber Boulevard branch (Gatineau sector). With the doubling of its surface area and a reorganization of its premises, the community can now benefit from a 16,000 sq. ft. health supermarket.

The expansion of our Gréber branch means we can now offer :

• A selection of over 12,000 natural and organic products.
• A larger section of fruits and vegetables, fresh produce, cosmetics and supplements.
• A reinforced bulk section, with over 500 natural and organic grocery products, as well as an expanded range of body and household products.

More new products will be added in the coming weeks and months.

Co-founded by Pierre Ménard, La Boite à Grains celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2020. Today, this Gatineau-based company specializing in natural and organic products is a benchmark in the Outaouais region and beyond. The team of over 120 employees continues to grow, with the aim of providing our customers with all the ingredients for a healthy, responsible diet.

The first store opened on boulevard Saint-Joseph in 1980. We then moved to larger premises on the same street in 1987 and 1994, La Boite à Grains continued its development by opening three other branches in other parts of the city.

The boulevard Gréber store opened in 2004, and the boulevard du Plateau store in 2016. The Aylmer branch was opened in 2020 following the acquisition of Sol Épicerie Santé.

In 2017, the launch of our e-commerce platform enabled all Canadians to discover our selection of over 12,000 natural and organic products. La Boite à Grains.

La Boite à Grains received the Prix Excelor three times in 1999, 2010 and 2020, awarded by the Outaouais Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2020, our employees' work-study balance efforts were rewarded.
