ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to anyone residing in Quebec or Ontario who is 18 years of age or older. The following are not eligible for this contest: employees, immediate family members, suppliers, and representatives of La Boite à Grains or the company providing the contest prize, affiliated companies or individuals, as well as those with whom they reside.

HOW TO ENTER

There is only one way to enter.

• No purchase necessary. To enter, participants must complete the form found on the contest page.
• All participants will be asked to confirm their entry via email.
• A person may enter no more than one (1) time.
  • All entries must include the participant’s real first and last names. Pseudonyms, nicknames, and any other name substitutions will not be eligible for the prize offered in this contest.
  • All participants who enter their email addresses on the contest form also consent to be added to La Boite à Grains’ mailing list to receive the newsletter with nutrition news. You may unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.
  • By entering the contest, winning participants agree to have their names published on La Boite à Grains’ website and/or social media.

The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, substituted, or converted into cash.

DRAW

The drawing will take place the day after the contest ends at La Boite à Grains (Hull location, 581 Saint-Joseph Blvd.).

Thirteen winners will be selected.

The draw results will be posted on La Boite à Grains’ website.

We will contact the winners by email. The winners must reply to the email or contact us within 72 hours of the announcement; otherwise, the prize will be redrawn from among the contest participants.

CLAIMING THE PRIZE

The winners must pick up their prize in person at one of La Boite à Grains’ locations.

The winners must pick up the prize within 15 days of the announcement; otherwise, another winner will be selected.

A photo ID must be presented to claim the prize.

If the winners are unable to pick up their prize in person, the prize may be shipped (at your expense) via Canada Post Expedited Parcel / GLS or Trexity (if the address is eligible for local delivery).

Failure to comply with any of the conditions mentioned in the paragraph above or any other condition set forth in these contest rules will result in the selected participant’s entry being void, and a new drawing for that prize will be conducted in accordance with these rules until a participant is selected and declared the winner.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Verification. Entry forms are subject to verification by the contest organizers. Any entry form that is incomplete, fraudulent, or submitted late will be automatically rejected and will not be eligible for a prize.

Non-Compliant Entry. The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any person or to void one or more entries from any person participating in or attempting to participate in this contest by means that violate these rules or are unfair to other participants (e.g., use of entry forms obtained from an unauthorized source, entries exceeding the permitted limit, etc.). The contest organizers reserve the right, at their discretion, to eliminate all entry forms sent as bulk mail (spamming) and those of dubious origin. Such individuals may be referred to the appropriate legal authorities.

Acceptance of the Prize. Any prize must be accepted as described in these rules and may not be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize, or exchanged in whole or in part for cash, subject to the provisions of the paragraph below. In the event that the prize includes a warranty, the winner acknowledges that the sole and exclusive warranty that applies is that of the manufacturer and/or retailer and/or producer of the prize, as applicable.

Prize Substitution. In the event that, for reasons unrelated to the winner, the contest organizers are unable to award the prize (or a portion of the prize) as described in these rules, they reserve the right to award a prize (or a portion of the prize) of the same nature and equivalent value or, at their sole discretion, the cash value of the prize (or portion of the prize) as specified in these rules.
Refusal to Accept a Prize. If a randomly selected person refuses to accept a prize in accordance with these rules, the contest organizers are released from any obligation related to that prize toward that person.

Limitation of Liability – Contest Operation. La Boite à Grains, its affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents, and representatives disclaim all liability for the malfunction of any computer system, software, or communication line, or for any transmission that is faulty, incomplete, unintelligible, or deleted by any computer or network, which may limit a person’s ability to participate in the contest or prevent such participation.

Modification. The contest organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this contest in whole or in part in the event of any occurrence, error, or human intervention that could compromise or affect the administration, security, fairness, or conduct of the contest as set forth in these rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required. In any event, the contest organizers, their affiliates, their advertising and/or promotional agencies, service or prize providers related to this contest, as well as their employees, agents, and representatives, shall not be required to award more prizes than those specified in these rules or to award prizes in any manner other than in accordance with these rules.

Inability to Act—Labor Dispute. La Boite à Grains and its affiliates shall not assume any liability of any kind in any case where their inability to act results from a fact or situation beyond their control or from a strike, lockout, or any other labor dispute at their facilities or at the facilities of organizations or companies whose services are used to conduct this contest.

Limitation of Liability. By participating or attempting to participate in this contest, each participant releases the contest organizers, their affiliates, their advertising and/or promotional agencies, the prize suppliers, and their employees, agents, and representatives from any liability for any damages the participant may incur as a result of their participation or attempted participation in the contest.

Authorization. By participating in this contest, any winner authorizes the contest organizers, their partners and representatives, and the prize suppliers to use, if required, their name, place of residence, photograph, likeness, statement regarding the prize, and/or voice without any form of compensation, at their discretion and without limitation as to the period of use, in any media and worldwide, for advertising or any other purpose deemed relevant.

Ownership of Entries. Entry forms are the property of La Boite à Grains and will not be returned to participants or contest partners at any time.

Decisions of the Contest Organizers. Any decision by the contest organizers or their representatives regarding this contest is final and binding, subject to any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec regarding any matter within its jurisdiction.
Disputes. Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. A dispute regarding the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux solely for the purpose of intervention to attempt to resolve it.

Identification of the Participant. For the purposes of these rules, the participant is the person whose name appears on the entry form, and it is to this person that the prize will be awarded if they are selected and declared the winner. A government-issued photo ID will be required to confirm the winner’s identity.

Personal Information.
