Bach Pine flower comes from the Scots pine, a species of tree belonging to the Pinaceae family found in Europe as far east as Siberia. Often referred to as the "northern pine", the flower has a long, straight trunk, usually reaching 25 metres in height, and lives for more than two centuries. Some Scots pines can last over 700 years. The tree is easily identified by its ochre-red bark. Its leaves are bluish needles measuring between 4 and 7 cm in length.
