Bibb Organic Buttercrunch Head Lettuce

Very drought-resistant, organic Buttercrunch Bibb lettuce from Jardins de l'Écoumène goes to seed late in the season. Its particularly dark-green leaves are quite thick and may be tinged with red at the edges. The part of the leaves not exposed to the sun is a light yellowish-white color.

The texture of crunchy, juicy Buttercrunch lettuce is simply delicious. This vigorous-growing lettuce can be grown in sun or part-shade and produces loose heads 15 to 20 cm in diameter 50 days after sowing.
