Semences Nordiques' organic XL Jelly Bean California poppy can reach 25 cm in height. It produces brightly colored flowers and is very drought-resistant.
Annual. Sow directly outdoors after the last frost, pressing seeds lightly into well-drained soil without covering. Germination generally takes place in 10 to 30 days at 16-18°C. Space seedlings about 15 cm apart and choose a location in full sun with poor to medium soil - over-fertile soil can reduce flowering.
Once established, plants require little water, being drought-resistant. Remove spent flowers as needed to prolong flowering throughout the season.
Based in the hills of the Outaouais region, Semences Nordiques farm offers certified organic and open-pollinated seeds. Carefully selected, top-quality varieties ensure reliable germination rates and vigorous seedlings.
Catherine, owner of Semences Nordiques, sums up the spirit of her company: "Our farm practices reflect a deep respect for nature. We strive to improve the health of our soils, promote biodiversity and preserve our natural resources".
