Sow beans directly in the field once days reach 16°C on average to ensure good germination. Sow 1" deep, 2" apart and 18" apart.

Harvest when beans are dry and make a rattle sound in their pods. If autumn is rainy, whole plants can be harvested and placed under cover to dry out.
