Evening Primrose Oil

The majority of North Americans have difficulty converting linolenic acid from their diet into gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) due to dietary deficiencies, aging and disease states; this is why supplementation with evening primrose oil, a rich source of GLA, is so important. Without a sufficient supply of GLA, prostaglandin formation is inhibited, which in turn affects the regulation of inflammation, hypertension and hormone production.

Health First's evening primrose oil is cold-pressed and hexane-free to provide consumers with an effective oil. It is also GMO-free. Health First Evening Primrose Oil contains at least 9.5% GLA, with 10 I.U. of natural vitamin E to ensure long shelf life.
