Since 1900 and four generations of the family, Marius Fabre in Salon-de-Provence has perpetuated the traditional Marseille soap-makingcooked in a cauldron.

The "à la marseillaise" manufacturing process guarantees an "extra pure" soap, free of all impurities. Used in cubes or shavings, it is recommended for gentle washing of delicate laundry (baby linen, fragile fabrics: wool, silk, lace...). Hypoallergenic, it also cares for all skin types, especially the most sensitive (babies, allergic skin, etc.).

Economicalit lasts even longer after drying.

  • 100% vegetable oils
  • No colorants, fragrances or preservatives
  • No chemical additives

The glycerine contained in these Marseille soaps is not added glycerine, unlike so-called "glycerinated" soaps. It is the glycerine naturally contained in vegetable oil. After 10 days of cooking and numerous rinses, only a tiny fraction remains. The ingredient "glycerin" is nevertheless mentioned in the list of ingredients on our soaps, as traces of it remain. The new cosmetics regulations require that all ingredients, even traces, be indicated in the list of ingredients.

Marseille soap has many uses and virtues that are often little-known:

  • For cleansing Cares for even the most sensitive skin. Recommended by dermatologists in cases of intolerance to synthetic soaps and cleansing bases.
  • Against moths: Hang a slice of Marseille soap in your cupboard to keep moths away.
  • Against cramps Placing a slice of Marseille soap at the bottom of your bed helps relieve cramps and rheumatism.
  • As a stain remover: A stain rubbed with slightly damp soap before washing will be removed more effectively than with any synthetic detergent (ideal for shirt collars).
  • To heal wounds: Marseille soap cleans small wounds and abrasions.
  • As toothpaste: It's great for the gums and keeps teeth clean and white.
