Liquid grapefruit seed extract is made from an extract with a high proanthocyanidin content. Quality assured.
Grapefruit seed extract (GSE) contains many polyphenolic compounds, including quercetin, hesperidin, campherol glycoside, neohesperidin, naringin, apigenin, rutinoside, poncirin and more. The polyphenols themselves are unstable, but are chemically converted into more stable substances belonging to a different class of products, the quaternary ammonium compounds. Some quaternary compounds - benzalkonium and benzethonium chloride, for example - are used industrially as antiseptics, but they are toxic to animal life, and we don't find them in detectable quantities in our grapefruit seed extract. Vitamin B choline is also a quaternary compound, but is non-toxic and even essential for maintaining healthy neurological function and fat metabolism.
EPP is successfully used in humans and animals to eliminate many types of internal and external infections caused by several species of parasites (monolocular and multilocular), viruses, bacteria and fungi. It naturally detoxifies, encourages and supports the immune system. It has been proven highly effective for many uses.

Adults : Take 5 capsules twice daily or as directed by your health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 1 month.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking immunosuppressive drugs; if you have an autoimmune disease; if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukemia, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS or HIV infection; if you have liver or biliary problems, or seizures; or if you are taking any other medication. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have been diagnosed with a gastric or duodenal ulcer; or if you suffer from gastric hyperacidity.
