Naturella's Malva-T herbal tea is a digestive, depurative and laxative tea. Malva is a plant of oriental origin used as a digestive and laxative plant. Scrofularia, which completes this herbal tea, is used in phytotherapy as a mild laxative.

Each sachet contains :

  • Whorled mallow (Malva verticillata) ... 2600 mg
  • Knotweed (Scrophularia nodosa) (herb) ... 200 mg

Pour 3 cups (750 ml) of boiling water over the sachet and infuse for 10 to 30 minutes. Remove sachet and drink.

Start with small amounts, ½ cup to 1 cup a day, for a few days. Then adjust the dose from 1 to 3 cups a day, according to your needs. If the infusion is drunk in batches, it can be stored in the refrigerator.

Take a few hours before or after taking medication or health products. Allow 6 to 12 hours before noticing laxative effects. 

Adults: infuse 1 sachet a day.

Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; before using this product if you have fecal impaction or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever; before using this product if you have kidney problems, or if you are taking heart medications such as cardiac glycosides or anti-arrhythmics.

Consult a health care practitionerbefore using this product if you are taking thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root, or any other drug or health product that may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.

Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhea.

Contraindications: Do not use if you have abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, existing or potential intestinal obstruction, lazy bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory bowel disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with water and electrolyte loss, hemorrhoids or diarrhea. Do not use if pregnant or breast-feeding.

Known adverse reactions: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) may occur. If so, discontinue use.
