Mizuna Organic Red

Les Jardins de l'Écoumène's organic Red Mizuna is a variety of ancient Japanese vegetable. a member of the Chinese cabbage family. The taste of the leaves is slightly peppery, reminiscent of arugula, with mustard accents that become more pronounced as the leaf grows.

Red Mizuna's rapid growth allows a good harvest of leaves before the heat sets in and causes bolting. Initial thinning is required after 20 days, and the first real harvest takes place around three weeks later.
