Semences Nordiques' organic Early Jalapeño pepper is an early variety. It takes about 65 days to harvest green peppers.
Sow seeds 8 weeks before last frost at 1/4" depth. Seeds take a long time to germinate (about two weeks), so keep the soil moist. They can be sown densely, then transplanted into a multi-cell or pots once the true leaves have developed.
Transplant when the days are warm and the risk of frost has passed (ideally night-time temperatures not below 7 degrees Celsius). Water abundantly after transplanting.
Based in the hills of the Outaouais region, the Semences Nordiques farm offers certified organic and open-pollinated seeds. Carefully selected, top-quality varieties ensure reliable germination rates and vigorous seedlings.
Catherine, owner of Semences Nordiques, sums up the spirit of her company: "Our farm practices reflect a deep respect for nature. We strive to improve the health of our soils, promote biodiversity and preserve our natural resources".
