Contraindications: Do not use if you are allergic to the Asteraceae, Compositae or Daisy family, including burdock and dandelion, or if you are allergic to nettle. Do not use if you suffer from biliary disorders, obstruction of the biliary tract, acute inflammation of the gallbladder or peptic ulcer. Discontinue use if symptoms of liver disorders occur. Do not use if you suffer from liver disorders or intestinal obstruction. Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Known side effects: Some more sensitive individuals may experience gastrointestinal problems (nausea, vomiting and diarrhea) or an allergic reaction to nettle (itching, exanthema, urticaria). The frequency of this type of reaction is unknown. It is possible that bitter herbs such as dandelion cause gastric hyperactivity, which can be unpleasant.
