Graviola is a small evergreen fruit tree native to Central America and the Caribbean. The bark, leaves and roots are considered sedative, antispasmodic, hypotensive and nervine.
Some of Graviola's researched, verified and well-documented active ingredients, the annonaceous acetogenins, are known for their antiproliferative (inhibiting unwanted cells), antiparasitic and antimicrobial effects and are the main constituents of Annona muricata. Another feature of Graviola is its high content of antioxidant compounds, making it a powerful anti-inflammatory.
