Gardening tips for National Pickling organic cucumber from Semences Nordiques
Cucumber seeds can be sown indoors up to one month before transplanting (so not before late April in the Outaouais region). Sow one or two seeds per cell or pot. Transplant on warm days and frost-free nights.
Space plants 1' apart in the row and 5-6' between rows. Take care to handle the roots as little as possible when transplanting. Water abundantly after transplanting.
You can also sow the seeds directly in the field (same spacing as when transplanting) after the risk of frost and until the end of June.
