Organic Oak Leaf Lettuce

Organic oak leaf lettuce from Jardins de l'Écoumène produces beautiful, deeply lobed, oak-leaf-like green leaves with a remarkably mild flavor. The dense rosette is made up of innumerable, rather long leaves of a beautiful bond green.

These grow back well after cutting. As well as being delicious in salads, oakleaf lettuce is exceptional braised or stewed.

Highly tolerant of cold, it also boasts superior resistance to insects and disease. What's more, it is very slow to set seed and can be grown all summer long.
