Oatmeal : Bring water and salt to a boil. Add quick-cooking oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes (or longer for a creamier oatmeal).
Microwave: In a large bowl, combine 45 g (1/2 cup) quick-cooking rolled oats, 227 mL (1 cup) water and a pinch of salt. Cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Let stand 2 minutes. Stir well before serving. Makes 1 serving.
