Jardins de l'Écoumène's organic Red Oak leaf lettuce is a highly resistant variety, which goes to seed late in autumn. The tender, highly decorative leaves are produced in abundance. The cut leaves keep very well and are harvested when they are 15 cm long. If you leave the heart in place, you'll be able to regrow several times during the season.
