Description

Throat Coat Lemon & Echinacea Organic Herbal Tea from Traditional Medicinals is a naturally caffeine-free infusion that hashelps reduce the duration and relieve the symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections.

Medicinal ingredients
Each 2 g tea bag contains 600 mg organic purple Echinacea root (Echinacea purpurea), 550 mg organic licorice root* (Glycyrrhiza glabra), 280 mg organic marshmallow leaves (Althaea officinalis), 100 mg organic marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis), 50 mg organic licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza uralensis) (5-7:1), equivalent to 300 mg licorice.
Non-medicinal ingredients

Organic lemon myrtle leaves (Backhousia citriodora), organic bitter fennel fruit (Foeniculum vulgare), organic orange peel (Citrus sinensis), organic cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum spp.).

*Contains 27.5% FairWild® certified ingredients by weight, in dry form.

Instructions for use
Pour 240 ml boiling water over a tea bag, cover and leave to infuse for 10 to 15 minutes. Gently squeeze the sachet to extract all its benefits.
Dosage

For adults. Drink two or three cups a day.

Duration of use :Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond four to six weeks.

Warning

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have liver problems or a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukemia, collagenosis or multiple sclerosis, or if you are taking immunosuppressive drugs. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.

Contraindications: Do not use if you suffer from hypokalemia, high blood pressure, kidney disease or cardiovascular disease. Do not use if you are allergic to the Asteraceae or Compositae (daisy) family. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiotonic glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or any other medication that may cause electrolyte imbalance.

Discontinue use in case of hypersensitivity or allergic reaction.
