Suitable for most baked goods, this white flour is made from organic spelt grain. Spelt is an ancient grain with a rich flavor and greater nutritional value than standard wheat.
Organic wholemeal flour can be stored for between 270 and 365 days. It's best to store flour in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place, or in the freezer.
La Milanaise is a family-run business. All the grains we use come from organic farms, i.e. using only composts, green manures and healthy crop rotations to maintain high soil fertility. The flours are freshly ground on millstones to preserve all their quality and nutritional value.
