St John's Wort herbal tea

Each sachet contains 1.5g dried aerial part of Hypericum perforatum L. (St John's Wort).

1 sachet, 2 times a day, as an infusion. Infuse 1 sachet in 1 cup of boiling water for 10 to 15 minutes.

Duration of use:

Use for at least one week to see beneficial effects; consult a health-care practitioner if use continues beyond 18 weeks.

Warnings

Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen; before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are taking anxiolytics, anticonvulsants, antihistamines, bronchodilators, muscle relaxants and/or opiates. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or any source of ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

Contraindications:

Do not use if you are taking anticancer agents, anticoagulants, antidepressants (e.g. SSRIs), anti-HIV agents, cardiovascular drugs, immunosuppressants and/or contraceptives. 

Known adverse reactions:

Some people may experience mild gastrointestinal upset, nausea, agitation and/or headache. Hyper-sensitivity (e.g. allergy) may occur. If so, discontinue use.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if bag is not sealed.
