Prepare as an infusion or syrup. The berries do not must not be consumed raw.
In a saucepan, soak the contents of the sachet (150 g) in 2 liters of water for 2 hours. Cover, bring to the boil and simmer for 45 minutes. Turn off the heat and allow to cool. Sift the liquid and return to the heat. Simmer over low heat, uncovered. Reduce to 750 ml syrup. Add 150 ml-200 ml organic raw sugar while still hot. For longer storage (several weeks), add 50 ml usnea tincture to the finished product. Always keep refrigerated.
