Sow seeds 4 to 8 weeks before last frost at ¼" depth. They can be sown densely, then transplanted into a multi-cell or pots once true leaves have developed. Transplant the plants when the days are warm and when the risk of frost has passed (ideally night-time temperatures not below 7 degrees Celsius).
