Triphala 500 mg from Now is a vegan and organic formula.enriched with calcium and magnesium. Triphala is a combination of three fruits (Harada, Amla and Behada) used in Ayurvedic herbalism for thousands of years as a digestive cleanser and tonic.
Each capsule contains :
- Triphala Powder (standardized to contain 40% tannins) ... 500 mg
- Amla fruit extract (Emblica officinalis), Behada fruit extract (Terminalia bellerica), Harada fruit extract (Terminalia chebula) Calcium (from calcium carbonate) ... 60 mg
- Magnesium (from magnesium oxide) ... 100 mg
Vegetable capsule (hypromellose, water), stearic acid (vegetable source) and citric acid.
Dosage in adults :
Take 1 tablet daily between meals, a few hours before or after taking other medications.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner before use. If you have or develop abdominal pain, nausea, fever or vomiting, consult a health care practitioner. Laxative effect may occur. Discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhea.
