Recipe: scented bath salts

Epson salt isn't really salt at all, but a pure, naturally-occurring mineral compound of magnesium and sulfate. Combined with essential oils, this bath salt is the perfect solution for our busy lives.

Ingredients:

• Glass jar with lid
• 2 cups Epson salt
• 1/2 cup baking soda
• 1/4 cup sea salt
• 20-30 drops lavender essential oil
• 5-10 drops vanilla essential oil

Directions for use:

1. In a large bowl, combine Epson salt, sea salt and baking soda.
2. Scent by adding lavender and vanilla essential oils, mixing well.
3. Slowly add more lavender oil until the desired fragrance is achieved.
4. Carefully pour the salt into your glass jar.
5. Use 1/4 cup in the bath.
