The power of exotic oils for rejuvenated, healthy skin

Summary: The power of exotic oils for rejuvenated, healthy skin
Skin aging is inevitable, but there are a number of things you can do to help maintain a more youthful appearance. Reducing stress, sleeping well and avoiding alcohol, caffeine and tobacco are essential.
Diet also plays a key role: consuming collagen via bone broth, wild salmon and berries helps maintain skin elasticity. Dry air and external aggressions can dry it out, but exotic oils such as argan, rosehip and marula oils offer hydration, protection and regeneration.
1) Risk factors to avoid
Stress, lack of sleep, alcohol, caffeine and smoking accelerate skin aging.
2) The importance of diet
Foods rich in collagen, such as bone broth, salmon and berries, help preserve skin elasticity.
3) External aggressors
Dry air, heating, sun and wind can weaken skin and accelerate aging.
4) The benefits of natural oils
Argan oil moisturizes and protects, rosehip oil reduces scarring and marula oil protects against free radicals and UV rays.
5) Accessible, natural skincare
Organic oils, without additives or solvents, are an effective and affordable solution for nourishing the skin and preserving its youthfulness.

Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
When you get to a certain age, little hurts take a little longer to disappear, and that's starting to happen with me. My skin is aging and I find that it doesn't heal as quickly as it did when I was 20 or 30. And many of us are noticing it. Lynn Goneau from La Boite à Grain is here to talk to us about skin and give us some tips.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Hello Fred.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
Well, it's important. A beautiful skin to try to rejuvenate it, but it must be done.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Yes, because we know that aging skin is an inevitable part of life, but there are things you can do to help your skin stay radiant longer, and even younger-looking.
My first tip is to reduce risk factors such as stress. And we all agree that lack of sleep, alcohol, caffeine and smoking are big factors that have a big impact on the skin, and we have to reduce them as much as possible. It's incredibly helpful.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
I don't have much to do with it. Apart from stress, maybe I sleep too much, but that's in my diet.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Yes, diet is also a big player when it comes to consuming foods rich in collagen, because we know that collagen ensures the skin's suppleness, shape and resistance. But we start to lose our collagen from the age of 25.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
Right.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
And collagen that's lost, well, it's going to give skin that's more soothed and wrinkles will also appear.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
Okay. So, I imagine that eating collagen can at least help the situation a little.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Yes, definitely. Collagen plays a major role in skin quality, but it also affects joints and many other things. It can be found in food in bone broth. It's one I really like. You can put a lot of good things in it, potatoes, carrots, and it'll season everything nicely. Either chicken or beef bones work very well, as does wild salmon, which we know has a high collagen content. All berries like strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, because yes, they're rich in vitamin C. We know that vitamin C helps form your own collagen. It's a precursor.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
Is there any in vegetables?
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Yes. Green leafy vegetables, spinach, kale, because it's rich in chlorophyll, and chlorophyll will help you.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
Our skin is attacked several times a day. I know that at home, in my new house, the air is so dry. It's hard for me.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Yeah. Yes, air, dry air does that. Hot air, sun, wind, rain, heating, etc. These are all factors that work against us every day. Yes, these are factors that go to work, that attack us every day in the end.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
So there are oils, among other things. You're not the first person to talk to me about argan oil, but I don't know. What's argan oil?
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Argan oil, which comes from Morocco, is a beautiful oil to work with because it will moisturize your skin, protect the skin, reduce the appearance of stretch marks, relieve all the itching of eczema.
Frédéric Bisson - Radio host 104.7FM:
That's why it's a little more expensive.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Yes, but she's reasonable about what she does.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
Yes, yes, but at La Boite à Grains natural, because it's often mixed with other products.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
It's 100% pure. Then there's rose hip seed oil. It's beautiful. I like working with it because it will nourish, obviously dry skin, then cracked skin, but it's also good for acne-prone skin. It's effective for fading even recent scars, then old scars that we still have, then even ulcers or acute and chronic ulcers.
Frédéric Bisson - Radio host 104.7FM:
Interesting.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
Yes, you apply it directly to the skin and it works wonders.
Frédéric Bisson - Host 104.7FM:
And there's marula seed oil.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
It's an antioxidant, in fact. It will help protect the skin from free radicals, then UV rays, before improving tone and texture through hydration. Then it really gives the skin a much younger look.
New Roots Herbal has a wide and varied range of organic exotic oils. They guarantee the absence of GMOs, herbicides, pesticides, solvents and heavy metals. The oils are then naturally preserved with organic rosemary extract. This guarantees their purity.
For me, these are the best oils on the market at a really reasonable price.
Frédéric Bisson - Radio host 104.7FM:
Yes. My mother once asked me for argan oil for Christmas. I couldn't believe it.
Lynn Goneau - Naturopath of La Boite à Grains:
It can be used for skin, hair and nails.
