This is an important moment in the history of La Boite à Grains. In August 2024, Pierre Ménard, who had held the position of President since the opening of the first store on Boulevard Saint-Joseph in 1980, passed the torch to Alexandre Savard, the new owner and President and CEO. This transfer of power marks a new stage in the succession project begun in 2016. "This is a new beginning for La Boite à Grains. Our health supermarkets have grown considerably, and the goal is to continue our development, maintaining our authenticity and values, while remaining attentive to opportunities," says Alexandre Savard.

After joining La Boite à Grains in 2010, Alexandre Savard became its general manager in 2014. Passionate and a jack-of-all-trades, close to his teams, he is actively involved in community life. "One of our prides is contributing to Gatineau's economic growth and ensuring that La Boite à Grains remains the property of local stakeholders."
