Place dates and water in a small bowl. Heat in microwave for 1 minute to soften dates. Pour into a food processor.
Add almonds and pulse until lumpy.
Pour into a buttered tart tin. Spread well with your fingers, building up the crust slightly around the edges. Set aside to cool.
In a bowl, vigorously whisk together tofu, melted chocolate and cocoa powder. Pour over crust and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
Just before serving, garnish generously with fruit of your choice. For a festive, gourmet touch, decorate your fruit with a drizzle of white chocolate.
