Pineapple and parsley smoothie
Have you ever heard of smoothies? They're drinks made with fresh or frozen fruit, yogurt, a little juice and ice. Mix it all together and you've got a smooth, refreshing juice!
You can replace the yogurt with silky tofu or milk, to taste.
(Makes 2 liters of hearty smoothie)
- 1 small pineapple, peeled and cored
- 3 oranges, peeled
- 2 bananas
- a bunch of parsley (if you have a powerful blender, you can leave the stems on, otherwise it's better to remove the toughest ones)
- approx. 500 ml water (it's best to start with a little less, adding more at the end until you reach the desired consistency)
Place all ingredients in blender. Start at low speed, as parsley is difficult to liquefy, and gradually increase to high speed. You'll need to let it run longer than for a spinach smoothie, but the result is worth it!
