ONCE THE HOLIDAYS ARE OVER, IT'S EASY TO GET BACK ON TRACK!
Getting together, celebrating and eating brings a great sense of joy and tons of beautiful memories... Some of us have made resolutions and others haven't... But either way, we all need to get back to our routines, rest and detoxify our bodies in order to get this year off to a healthy start!
Detoxifying your body is like pressing "restart". By giving the body the tools it needs, it frees itself from accumulated toxins that cause the body to slow down, leading to stress, fatigue and aches and pains of all kinds! When detoxing, it's important to drink 2 liters of pure water a day, and to ensure that you don't create any vitamin or nutrient deficiencies essential to the body. It's also important to adopt a healthy lifestyle to help restore optimal health. For example, improve stress management, take up physical exercise and increase sleep quality. In addition, cut out foods that produce toxins and interfere with the body's cleansing process. These foods generally include: coffee, alcohol, sugars, dairy products and flours (bread, pasta, potatoes, pastries).
To help you, I've created 3 easy, effective and safe "home detoxes" below. You'll find everything you need to detoxify your body and revitalize its functions. It's up to you to choose the one that's right for you!
#1 LIQUID DETOX
Repeat 3 to 5 days, depending on your comfort level.
WAKING UP
- 1 cup nettle-ginger tea, followed by a tall glass of pure water (remineralizing, collagen-producing, detoxifying and anti-inflammatory).
BREAKFAST
- 1 dose tincture of milk thistle (detoxifies, activates and regenerates the liver).
- 1 dose of transparent fiber. (Helps improve intestinal elimination, especially during a liquid detox).
- 1 to 2 cups of chicken broth homemade or homestyle (organic, no sugar or additives) with pink salt to taste. *You can always substitute chicken broth for vegetable broth, but the latter is not as therapeutic.
- Home-made or home-style green juice, in dehydrated or frozen organic powder. Visit chlorophyllwheatgrass juice and spirulina are also good options. (Detoxifying, remineralizing, nutritive, alkalizing and digestive aid)
- Drink 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes after your meal. breakfast.
MID-AFTERNOON
- 1 cup of nettle tea and dandelion (Remineralizing, collagen-producing, detoxifying & diuretic).
- Capsules of omega 3 orcoconut oil capsules. (Good essential fats to activate the metabolism and support the nervous system)
- drink 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes before dinner.
DINNER
- 1 dose of tincture of milk thistle (detoxifies, activates and regenerates the liver).
- 1 to 2 cups of broth homemade or homestyle chicken broth (organic, no sugar or additives) with pink salt & herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary) to taste.
- Homemade or homestyle green juice in dehydrated or frozen organic powder. La chlorophyllwheatgrass juice and spirulina are also good options.
- Drink 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes after dinner.
MID-APRES-MIDI
- 1 cup nettle tea and dandelion (Remineralizing, collagen-producing, detoxifying & diuretic).
- Capsules of omega 3 orcoconut oil.
- Drink 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes before supper.
DINNER
- 1 dose tincture of milk thistle (detoxifies, activates and regenerates the liver).
- 1 to 2 cups of broth homemade or homestyle chicken broth (organic, no sugar or additives) with pink salt & herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary) to taste.
- Homemade or homestyle green juice in dehydrated or frozen organic powder. La chlorophyllwheatgrass juice and spirulina are also good options.
- Drink 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes after dinner.
EVENING
- 1 cup of chamomile tea and peppermint. (Digestive and relaxing)
- 30 minutes after the herbal tea, take a liquid magnesium supplement with a glass of pure water.
GO TO BED
- Liquid or powdered probiotics with a glass of water (to rebalance the intestinal ecosystem).
#2- SEMI-LIQUID DETOX
Repeat for 3 to 7 days, depending on your comfort level.
WAKING UP
- 1 cup of herbal tea or 1 dose of nettle mother tincture and dandelion(Remineralizing, collagen-producing, detoxifying & diuretic).
BREAKFAST
- 1 dose milk thistle tincture, capsules or crushed seeds. (Detoxifies, activates and regenerates the liver)

1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 scoop organic, sugar-free whey or vegan protein powder
- 1 scoop green food concentrate
- ½ avocado
- ½ cup berries
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- process in food processor
MID-AFTERNOON
- 2 glasses of pure water with slippery elm in capsule or powder form (good anti-inflammatory, emollient and restorative for the intestinal wall and promotes intestinal elimination).
- Capsules of omega 3 orcoconut oil. (Good essential fats to activate the metabolism and support the nervous system)
DINNER
- 1 dose of milk thistle in the form of your choice.
- 1 to 2 cups homemade or home-style chicken broth (organic, no sugar or additives) with pink salt & herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary) to taste. *You can always substitute chicken broth for vegetable broth, but the latter is not as therapeutic.
- Use sugar-free, fermented coconut flesh "yogurt". If necessary, add stevia, cinnamon or vanilla to taste.
- drink 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes after dinner.
MID-APRES-MIDI
- 2 glasses of water with slippery elm in capsules or powder.
- Capsules of omega 3 orcoconut oil.
SOUP
- 1 dose of milk thistle in the form of your choice.
- 1 to 2 cups homemade or home-style chicken broth (organic, no sugar or additives) with pink salt & herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary) to taste.
- vegetable soup.
- drink 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes after dinner.
EVENING
- 1 cup of chamomile tea or peppermint and dandelion. (Relaxing, digestive and detoxifying)
- 30 minutes after the herbal tea, take a magnesium supplement with 1 glass of water.
GO TO BED
- Probiotics 50 billion in capsules, powder or liquid with 1 glass of water (to rebalance the intestinal ecosystem).
#3-SOLID DETOX-
Repeat for 7 to 14 days, depending on your comfort level.
WAKING UP
- 1 cup of herbal tea or one dose of nettle mother tincture and dandelion(Remineralizing, collagenizing, detoxifying & diuretic).
BREAKFAST
- 1 dose of milk thistle tincture, capsules or crushed seeds.
- Here's my famous "Green Smoothie" recipe:
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 scoop organic, sugar-free whey or vegan protein powder
- 1 scoop green food concentrate
- ½ avocado
- ½ cup berries
- 1 tbsp. chia seeds
- process in food processor
- Take 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes after the meal. breakfast.
MID-AFTERNOON
- Glass of water with chlorophyll or aloe vera gel to taste (detoxifying, remineralizing, alkalizing and aids digestion)
- Wait at least 20 minutes, then snack on organic fruit of your choice.
- Omega 3 or coconut oil capsules (Good essential fats to activate metabolism and support the nervous system)
- Take a large glass of water 30 minutes after your snack.
DINNER
- 1 dose of milk thistle tincture, capsules or crushed seeds.
- 1 cup of bouillon homemade or homestyle chicken broth (organic, no sugar or additives) with pink salt & herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary) to taste. *You can always substitute chicken broth for vegetable broth, but the latter is not as therapeutic.
- Leafy green salad, add onions and other vegetables to taste. Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil, lemon, lime or lemon juice. apple cider vinegar and sprinkle with pink salt to taste!
- A handful of nuts of your choice. Peanuts are not nuts and are not recommended.
- Take a digestive enzyme in the middle of the meal to facilitate and improve digestion and the detox process.
- Take 1 glass of water 30 minutes after dinner.
MID-APRES-MIDI
- Glass of water with chlorophyll or aloe gel to taste.
- Wait at least 20 minutes, then snack on organic vegetables of your choice.
- Omega 3 or coconut oil capsules.
- Take a large glass of pure water 30 minutes after the snack.
SOUP
- 1 dose of milk thistle tincture, capsules or crushed seeds.
- 1 cup homemade or home-style chicken broth (organic, no sugar or additives) with pink salt & herbs (thyme, sage, rosemary) to taste.
- Organic vegetables of your choice, lightly steamed for 2 to 4 minutes, drizzled with organic extra-virgin olive oil and pink salt to taste.
- One portion of lean meat (wild fish, organic chicken or organic bison).
- Take 1 digestive enzyme in the middle of the meal.
- If needed, 1 cup of fermented coconut flesh "yogurt" (add stevia, cinnamon, vanilla... to taste) will be a good option as a side dish with or after supper.
- Take 1 glass of pure water 30 minutes after dinner.
EVENING
- 1 cup of chamomile tea or peppermint and dandelion.
- 30 minutes after the herbal tea, 1 dose of magnesium with 1 glass of pure water.
GO TO BED
- Probiotic supplement 50 billion liquid, powder or capsule (to rebalance the intestinal ecosystem).
Finally, whatever style of detox you choose, it's important to get a good night's sleep and eliminate stress, or at least its harmful effects. Physical exercise is essential to relieve stress, promote sleep, oxygenate and detoxify the body. Swimming, walking and yoga are ideal activities during a detox, but also beneficial in the long term.
