Home Drink Recipe: Golden milk with turmeric and cashew milk Recipe: Golden milk with turmeric and cashew milk by La Boite à Grains 05 Jun 2024 Turmeric paste Ingredients: ¼ cup turmeric ½ cup filtered water ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper Preparation: Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan Heat over medium heat for no more than 3 to 4 minutes, or until thickened. Leave to cool and store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 10 days. Homemade cashew milk Ingredients: 1 cup cashews 5 cups water 1 pinch salt 1 drizzle maple syrup Preparation : Soak cashews for 30 minutes, rinse and drain. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Keep for 5 to 7 days in a Mason jar in the refrigerator. Golden Milk Ingredients: ¼ teaspoon turmeric paste 1 cup homemade cashew milk 1 tsp. coconut oil 1 tsp finely grated fresh ginger 1 pinch ground cardamom or cinnamon, to taste 1 pinch ground vanilla or ¼ tsp vanilla extract Maple syrup Preparation: In a small saucepan, combine all ingredients and heat for a few minutes.
