We're in the middle of winter, and let's be honest: cold, dark mornings make it hard to get out of bed. Our need for vitamins and minerals is greater than ever. So here's a tangerine and spice smoothie recipe that'll give you your fill of vitamin C and essential nutrients thanks to Vega's Protein & Greens.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving Vega Protein & Greens with vanilla
  • 3 small (or 2 medium) mandarins, peeled
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp dried ginger, ground
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 4-5 ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients except ice cubes in blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add a few ice cubes and continue to blend, adding more ice cubes according to the desired texture.
  3. Pour into a tall glass and serve garnished with cinnamon.
