After a long day in the sun, what better way to cool off than with a glass of margarita? This Strawberry Lime Margarita recipe is particularly hydrating and remineralizing, thanks to our secret ingredient: electrolytes.

Electrolytes help counteract the dehydration and fatigue associated with prolonged sun exposure and heat stroke.

This margarita is also an alcohol-free cocktail that will appeal to sports enthusiasts looking to rehydrate after a workout.

Procedure for Strawberry Lime Margarita with electrolytes

  1. Pulverize all ingredients (except toppings) in a high-powered blender. Blend until ice cubes are broken and strawberries are well crushed.
  2. Prepare margarita (or martini) glasses by moistening rims with lime juice.
  3. Place the salt and sugar crystals on a small plate and frost the rims of the glasses.
  4. Pour margarita mixture into glasses frosted with sugar and salt.
  5. Serve immediately.
