Pumpkin Hummus

Halloween night is always full of excitement and fun. Kids are eager to go trick-or-treating and will gobble up dinner in no time. That's why a picnic meal featuring healthy and tasty foods is a practical and winning solution.
This pumpkin hummus is exactly what you need to put on the table for a quick, easy and healthy Halloween meal. Enhanced with crudités and crackers, it will be a hit with everyone on the evening of October 31 or at your next Halloween party with friends.
Preparation : 20 minutes
Culinary tools: high-powered food processor or blender
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups of cooked chickpeas
- ½ cup of sesame butter (tahini)
- 1 cup of pumpkin puree
- 2 tablespoons olive oil + a drizzle to serve
- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt
- 1 pinch each of the following ground spices ginger, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg.
Approach
- Place the chickpeasthe sesame butterthe pumpkin puree and olive oil into the container of the food processor or blender. If using a blender (blender), turn on the puree mode and begin blending the pumpkin hummus on low, slowly increasing to high. If necessary, use a wooden spoon to direct the ingredients downwards.
- Once the mixture is well blended, add the seasonings including the apple cider vinegarapple cider vinegar, the maple syrupthe salt and spices.
- Grind again to even out the taste of the pumpkin hummus.
- Pour the pumpkin hummus into a medium bowl or small emptied pumpkin and drizzle with olive oil.
- Serve with raw vegetables and apple slices, crackers.

Bonjour Line,
Ce hummus à la citrouille se conservera 5 à 7 jours au réfrigérateur, malgré que l’idéal soit de ne pas dépasser 3 jours.
Il est possible de le congeler oui, comme tous les autres hummus. Après la congélation, il suffit parfois de repasser le hummus au robot culinaire ou au mélangeur afin de lui redonner sa belle texture lisse, si la texture a changé.
