The healthy pantry: What to eat before and after training

At the start of the new year, have you resumed a more intensive training program? The nutrition that accompanies your sporting activity is extremely important. Our naturopath Lynn Goneau gives you her advice.

What to eat before and after training: recommended products

- 3 hours before training: slow carbohydrates such as whole grains, cereals or oatmeal

- 1h before training: fast carbohydrates such as applesauce or fruit

- during training: keep adequately hydrated, for example by drinking coconut water

- after training: regain your strength by giving priority to carbohydrates, legumes and fruit
