Mother's Day Breakfast Tray

Approach

  1. With the help of cookie cutters, press shapes into the slices of sprouted bread then place the nicely cut bread on a plate. Place on the tray.
  2. Fill a small container with jam and place next to the bread. Place on tray.
  3. Fill a long glass with fruit juice Better Together. Place on tray.
  4. In a bowl, pour plain yogurt and top with cut strawberries, sliced almondsalmonds shelled hemp seeds or chia seeds. Place on tray.
  5. Cut blood orange and place on platter. Place on tray.
  6. To make the sweet talk jam: write love notes to mom on the paper strips. Fold each paper strip over itself and fill the resealable jar with these beautiful intentions. For children who have not yet learned to write, simply trace the letters of the word ''Mom'' and add drawings.

Children's autonomy in the kitchen

Cooking is a great source of freedom and creativity for children. Although most of the preparations require adult supervision, some things can be done by children. The cooking tool Coup Coup is recommended for this recipe as it allows children to be independent in cutting food without cutting themselves. This knife made of maple wood is safe for young children.

Have a good breakfast moms!
