by La Boite à Grains 05 Jun 2024 0 comments

Nutrition plays a major role in our mental health, and more generally in our brain health. Certain vegetables and nuts have a direct impact on our cognitive functions. Our naturopath Lynn Goneau gives you her recommendations.

Foods for good mental health

- Lutein-rich vegetables: spinach, kale, broccoli, arugula

- Sources of vitamins C and D: red peppers, strawberries, kiwi, oranges

- Oily fish for their omega-3 content: salmon, tuna, sardines, etc.

- Sources of vitamin E: dates, almonds and other nuts

- Evive smoothie cubes for convenience

- Supplements to ensure optimal daily intake: Land Art vitamin D and Ester-C from Sisu
